When I was in a serious car accident, worries about how I was going to pay for the expensive treatments and therapies that I needed to recover made it that much harder for me to start really getting better. I couldn't focus in physical therapy and I couldn't put myself in a positive mindframe, because I was so worried about money. When my lawyer contacted me and told me that I'd won, and that the other driver's insurance company had agreed to settle for the amount of money we were asking for, I was overjoyed. My medical bills would be taken care of. Knowing that really took the weight off my mind and helped me recover. Once I started to feel better, I decided to keep a blog about my experience overcome serious car accident injuries.
